Custom Payment Form For Authorize Net

Can you point me in the direction of the area of the software that deals with payments using Authorize.Net. I have set up the payment gateway, and it all works fine, however, I would be interested to know if any consideration has been given to using a custom template (might require SSL certificate on hosted website) instead of the default form provided by Authorize.Net. There isn't much you can do with that form, and a more integrated look might be more apealing. Perhaps there already is a template and I just haven't found it?
Thank you.

The form itself is payment.tmpl and you can edit templates from the admin however be careful editing that as the variables passed and how the form is done has to be exact and follow the authorize.net guidelines. The variables passed are determined by uploadproduct and editproduct php scripts.

Yep exactly!

The form itself has to be passed per the authorize.net guidelines but you can beautify things to your liking

Please indulge me a while longer...

Chuck,
Could you give a poor hacker a tip on where to add a snipet of javascript to the Authorize.net payment process to feed an affiliate program sales data as it occurs from photopost (not subscriptions through vB).
I've taken a hard look at payment.php (the post process script), but I don't know the right way to code javascript into this. It's only about 5 lines of code, but when I stick it in there, I'm making a mess of the payment confirmation. There's no template to go with payment.php that I can tell, it just forwards to showproduct when all is said and done.
The best place may be where the "Thank you for your payment" message is displayed during the redirect, but I can't find that code either! Is from pp-inc.php or something?
I realize this is way off the beaten path, but a little direction is all I need.
Thank you.

Affiliate thing to where? Not really following what your asking. The authorize.net form is pretty specific so not sure what your trying to pass here
