Announcement box help

In Index Options under announcement box....

I know how to turn it on and off.

I added a title and it worked

I added the contents to the announcement box but now I can't get it to delete or change. (with an html code link made it go over 200 characters)

What can I do to change this if it's not working in the admin panel????

In adm-misc.php at around this code noted add the code in bold
