I have categories that do not contain ads with sub cats under them that do, the sub cat pictures only show when you expand the menu to show all subcats, is it possible to use one of the subcat images in the parent cat with no ads?

Nope there must an ad to target a catavatar for the catergory.

How about a random image from a sub-category?
 

Maybe this would be a cool enhancement. With the option to show avatars on categories, but then to have some categories not have ads, leaves a blank space to the left of the category name, just so they show up when there is an ad. Why not at least fill this space with a random image (maybe link, maybe not), to an image from any of the subcategories that do contain ads.:)
