watermark help

hi, what im trying to do is place this image on the bottom right of each image uploaded:

Content visible to verified customers only.

i tried following the instructions you had on another thread but it didnt work or i missed something, i tried selecting and deselecting things and stuff but nothing worked but it put a blue watermark on the bottom of the images with the file name.. but thats not what i want..

can you please help me?
i want that image to be put on each image uploaded permanently. i currently have my settings set for GD2

You can not use a gif image with gd2 it must be a png image.

i have a png of that also in the same directory. i dont know what i need to setup and enable and stuff for it to work, can you tell me exactly what i need to enable and stuff

well it sounds like all you need to do is swap out the image as you said it puts a blue box with the filename there of the gif image so it sounds to me like you have it setup right

Basically for on the fly watermarks you can set the path to watermark image in Admin => Image Protection => Options and turn on the on the fly protection and watermarking

If you want permanent watermarking you can in Admin => Watermark Options set that to yes and specify the path in there. You would then go to Admin => Edit Categories and set the watermarking permission for each category for which usergroups get there images stamped with the watermark.

Your server path to the watermark image is incorrect it should be this

/home/puregraf/public_html/graffiti-gallery/images/watermark.png

hey, if im using the watermark, do GIFS not get branded?

cause its weird, i upped some gifs and they didnt get branded, and i upped jpgs and they got branded.

What processor are you using? Gif's I do not beleive if your using GD2 will not get watermarked.
