| register / place ad nav link
So listen to this.......
When a user isn't registered yet, the nav bar has a link that says "Register"
When a user is registered, the nav link turns to "Place an ad"
NOW ----
when a user has reigstered but has not yet confirmed their email address, it says nothing at all ----- no link......
where do I modify a file or template to have it put something like "confirm email"?
This is confusing alot of users and I finally found out what the heck they are talking about.....

Your forum registration is handled though VB right. Register only appears if a guest views the site. Place an Ad appears for anyone who has permission to upload. If your using registration verification on the forum then the user needs to comply with your forum policies. This is not an issue with our software coding since your registration is handled externally. The links on our menubar that show will be those the user has permission to see. Hense you have unconfirmed users set to not upload then they will not see that link.

You could edit the top menu function if you want and do that but there is no way off the top of my head your going to get the verification syntax sent in the user registration confirmation in VB |

I just wanted it to say something ----- anything really - cause the people are just so blind and dumb they do not think to rtead the message after registration..... all they do is say they cannot find the button anywhere and they looked all over ---- I tell them that it is because they have not verified themselves - but just doesn't elliminate the problem of them not seeing anything there...
They are looking in the spot but nothing is there --- so even if it was just a static link that I can put a javapopup on with a message....

Maybe something like this just make sure the link goes where you want Code: Content visible to verified customers only.

In the same context I was able to replace all text links in the navigation with graphic buttons, except the 'Register' link. Where can I find this link?

where links are depends on the script and location for example links on the menubar are located in the pp-inc.php file under the topmenu function.
