How can I print currency on showcategory page?

Would like to show currency ie: [ $1.200 USD ] right after price on showcategory page. I did not want to create another column but instead just print the currency code after price in the same column. Any suggestions on how this could be done?

You would need to edit showcat.php and define currency like in bold here then you could use the variable in the template
