forum integration Question

Can i integrate the Top level Catagorys, into the forum, so that, it looks like a normal forum, with the No. of Threads and no of posts showing the amount of threads / posts in the specific Top level Catagory.

At present i have used a forum link to the Top level cat, but it shows up as a link and does not show how many threads and posts are containd within the Forum.

Sorry Chuck, it was the path to me that confused me.

i was looking in the config settings for a path to me. doh.

i understand what you are saying now i have looked at lines 84 & 85

Maybee i should have clarified that it is photopost Classifieds i wish to integrate.

I have looked in the install files and do not have the file it says to include, inc_features.php

Edit:

I have tried changing it to the following.

include('./classifieds/inc_ads.php');
include('./classifieds/inc_classifieds.php');

Now i get.

Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /classifieds/inc_ads.php on line 56

Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /classifieds/inc_ads.php on line 108

Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /classifieds/inc_classifieds.php on line 101

Warning: mysql_free_result(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /classifieds/inc_classifieds.php on line 112

Make sure your edit integration settings are filled out correctly in that section in admin especially with the table prefix

If your forum and classifieds are in separate databases you need to follow the steps here in the instructions as stated
