Which template should I modify to remove currency selector from all ad groups?

I would like to remove the option for selecting currency when users place ads....

Eeven if I could just use hidden and let it default to US dollars.....

My classifieds are free so it should matter much, I think?

Instead of removing currency, would I be able to add one for say Canadian dollers. ie: <option value="CDN">{$Globals['pp_lang']['cdn']}</option>

Would that work ok?

Have alot of Canadians that place ads. This would be a very nice enhancement for them.

Well it would be a bit more of a mod that that. Your right about adding an option there would work. You would then need to see the code in showgallery and showphoto that loads the proper currency system for the dollar type and add one for canadian dollars

This is sounding like more of a modification to me. I would be a heck of alot more comfortable tackling this if there was a supported mod for adding additional currencies.

Are you considering adding the ability to add additional currencies in a future release?

Possibly have not thought about new additions yet since we just came out of a beta where tons was added. We still have Photopost and vBGallery to go through the beta cycle before Classifieds again

Is uploadproduct.tmpl the only place? I removed it and still had the Currency drop-down when posting an ad.

There are several uploadproduct templates and also editproduct templates that have that code

Chuck,

Im curious as to why you guys are not putting more flexability into your classifieds program. Dont you think there should be more control through the admin cp for simple things like this above and like the Item condition menu and many others?

I see so many 'little' things that seem somewhat obvious...

How about it Chuck?, can we get more control over disabling and hiding things from within the admin control panel?

You would need to hack your code something you can discuss outside product support in the mod forums.
