Are breadcrumbs suppoed to show up like the do in the forums? There is a whole block at the top that is empty.

Please look:http://www.bloodbanktalk.com/classifieds/index.php.

Thanks

Our breadcrumbs show where they are suppose to. Your index will not have a breadcrumb. Now look at your category it does

Look at your ad it does as well

Thanks Chuck,
So when I am in the classifieds section, how do I get back to the forums? Not all of my users are savy about this.

I know they could do that, I was hoping there was a way to get breadcrumbs in the box above the classifieds though.
Even if it weren't really breadcrumbs, but a simple link back to the forums.

Could you let me know what template I need to look in to try and do this?

Thanks

Why not add one on your vbulletin navbar template or your classifieds menubar template

I could do that, but I don't like the blank box above the classifieds, and I'm trying to modify my entire site and keep it all with one consistent look.

Any advice on how to add info to that block?

I would suggest then you look at your custom style and add whatever you need to whichever template those buttons are in. I would assume it is your vbulletin header template.

Hmm, it's not in the header template, I am using a custom template.
Here is what is at the beginning of where the data is displayed in all other placed except the classifieds (navbar):
<if condition="in_array(THIS_SCRIPT, array(index))">
<if condition="$show['member']">

Is one of these conditions preventing it from being displayed? Or does this not exists for classifieds.

An example of what would be perfect is this link: http://www.bloodbanktalk.com/links/index.php. I know it grows with the correct breadcrumbs, that would be ideal, but I'd like to be able to add to it a simple link back to the main forum page as well as let people know they are in the classifieds.

You need to check out your vbulletin stylesheet and check the header or navbar templates whereever those links are and add one for the forum.

I can't say where this is going to be as this is not a classifieds issue. We are talking about a custom vb theme and these links reside in the templates for that theme. You need to poke around that theme. I would think it would be one of those two templates as we only call the header navbar and footer templates over classifieds

Can we add a conditional statement to our header template for VB to display a different breadcrumb when using Classifieds? Also, if this can be done would the statements used in classifieds work in that template when browsing classifieds?

The breadcrumb is not done like vb and the $childnav is done by a function dependent on certain things. Any if statements would need to be in the childsub function itself.

Now if you wanted to make your breadcrumb like vb you can do something like I posted here in this thread here is a post on a change I suggested to a user in Photopost
