Sort by not working

I have two questions...

1 - My sort by drop down doesn't seem to be working.... I remember customizing something somewhere to make the most recent ads appear first... Is this effecting the drop down fuction as well?

2 - I would like to change the word "Browse" to "Grab an Image off Desktop".
(Someone told me they didn't know what browse meant) I looked for it in the language file but I do not see it there, can this be changed?

If you customized something in the file probally best to download the build and upload a clean file to make sure your edit did not break it.

Can I trouble shoot without uploading a new file? I would much rather look at the piece of code instead of re-writing it...

I remember that the only thing I modified with reference to the display order was I changed a digit somewhere on your advice to make most recent appear instead of most views....

I believe you recommended changing a 1 to a 2 or vice versa.... That was the only thing I changed....

Could you tell me which file controls the sort feature and what piece of code to look for that would effect it?

Again, this is for "sort by" drop down box which doesn't change the sort order and it seems to be in all catagories....

I would suggest replacing your showcat.php file

In the new classifieds there should be no need for that edit as one of the new features was the ability to set in Admin => Edit Categories a default sort for each category.

I replaced the file and that was it....
All fixed now....
