Changing Font Size

I was curious if it is possible to change font size in certain categories only? I know I can change all the Fonts through Vbulletin, but if I wanted to make a category font size 12, and the subcategories font size 10 is there a way to do it? For example in the forums when you post a thread [size=11]Like This[/Size.]

You could place html font tags around certain category names if you wanted say to increase the parent cats name in Admin => Edit Categories

What would be the correct way to write the font tags? When I tried it the tags show up with the parent category name.

<font size="3">something</font>. It would also depend what version of the software your using that you can do this.
