report on Ad revenue?

Simple question:

How do I report on Ad revenue? (How do others do it?)

I don't see it in "Statisics"

? report on ad revenue please explain. In your stats is shown how much has been sold through your gallery.

We are PhotoPost Classifieds standalone.
We're set up so that General Ads are free.
highlight, bold and italic costs the poster $1 each.

I posted an ad with highlight, bold and italic and paid 3.00 sucessfully to the PayPal account on my credit card and was returned back to the ad. It's there as expected.

All that shows in the "stats" area of the back end is:

Quote:

Registered Users 3 Total Products 7
Total disk space used by the DATA directory 0.18 mb
Awaiting Approval 0 Total Views 51

Online Users, admin log...etc.

I would expect to see some stats, for example,

"total highlight ads 1, total highlight dollars: $1.00"

and so on for bold, italic, etc.

Is there another stats area that I'm missing?

No there is no stats area like that.

The admin is sent an email when they recieve a payment. Once a user sells a product your statistics will show the payment amount for the ad.

Got that, but no details, just the grand total of $3.00.

This is not working for me. I had 7 products and marked 4 of them as sold, and my "statistics" are STILL shows:

Registered Users 3 Total Products 7
Total disk space used by the DATA directory 0.18 mb
Awaiting Approval 0 Total Views 70

Nothing about products sold, etc.

You need to view the statistics on your index page of classifieds

Ok, I know I'm getting a workout here today. I'm a newbie here....

You mean to say that in order for statistics to show anywhere, you must set...

Edit Options >> Index Options >> Display product stats on index page? = Y
Sidebar Settings >> Show Sidebar on Index Page? = Y
and then pick a spot

And then I have to display the stats to the world, and I can't display them privately? Where's that wish list ....

Newbie questions are why we are here my friend. Yes the statistics like number of users etc are shown on the main index of the site

It is total views for every category not listed one at a time.
