| Failing to Load
I haven't made any changes over the past few days but now no one can access the marketplace. http://www.usacarry.com/marketplace/
It just comes up with a server error.
Any idea how to fix this?

I just performed an upgrade to see if that helps but it didn't fix anything.

well what is the server error? Hard for me to post a possible fix without knowing what the problem is. Something would have had to change.
All I see is a white page which could mean anything from a corrupt file to a bad server path to your vbulletin if this is a vbulletin integration.

vBulletin was not upgraded or changed and I didn't touch the marketplace files. It works on my mobile phone but not from a PC. I've had my developer and server techs look through everything the past few days and they have found nothing. My only other option would be to just remove the software since it has been down for days.

The server error is:
HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfill the request.

Can you access my server to take a look? If so I can send you login info via PM. Thanks.

If it works on the mobile phone but not on the main computer then by guess would be your integrated with vbulletin and your server path to vbulletin is incorrect on the $vbpath line. Meaning your upgraded and replaced your config files and have bad paths etc. Your trying to load the vb header footer and we can not find the vb files because that path is wrong.
That would be my guess number 2 on our FAQ thread on vb vBulletin Installation/Integration Common Issues and Resolutions. |

I just checked the $vbpath in config-intc.php and it is correct. I had my server techs check to make sure it was the correct path as well.

If you turn off the 3 vb3 define switches does your classifieds load? Not much to go on here. If mobile display works then that means your classifieds works so the issue has to be the vbulletin interface.

Yes, when I turned those off I saw the mobile version of the site. I'm using vbulletin 4.

You can not see the mobile version on computer only a mobile phone
I think you mean to say when you turn off those settings your classifieds loads?
if that is the case then the server path to your forum in the config-intc.php file is incorrect.
I really can not offer any other advise without truly seeing how things are set.

If I turn off your vb enhanced integration things load fine so the issue is related to your vb maybe a plugin can not respond though because the admin login you gave me is invalid so hard to comment further than just verifying a path.
I know the classifieds works all our products use vb4 and work fine with the default product we know that vb4 is 3 years old.
what happens if you turn off the plugin system and load the enhanced integration? what happens if you use the enhanced integration with the default vb style?
I know you have changed servers as the last time I looked at your site the server information was not this.

I just sent the correct vb admin login. And no, I have not changed servers. I've been on this dedicated server for years.

well ok but I seem to remember we did an install upgrade something for you and I seem to remember the ftp host as simply usacarry.com not what you sent this time which is why I figured you might have switched servers.
So what happens if you do what I suggested above did you do that?

I just turned define(VB3_INTEGRATION, 'on'); to on and it seems to be working again. Nothing changed on my side so maybe something you did fixed it.

The only thing I can think of is bad file. I did reupload the global file and header include file but let me know if you have any other issues.

And now it doesn't work again and I haven't touched anything since we both saw it working. Very strange. Do you have any other ideas?
