HMM interesting you sure you are using all the latest php files especially adm-misc.php?
I just tried that and it edits the correct template set.

What is the url to your install? Your using the enhanced integration correct? You need to be using the enhanced integration to edit and use those special templates.
Like I said I just went to my site and edited the indexhead template and right before $childnav I put editing template and when I viewed my site on my indexhead I saw those words so I know it edited the vb4 template.
The adm-misc.php file has the following which points to the right template set. Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
The only way as I see it that your vb3 template set would be edited is if vb40 would not be defined as on.

This shows it works look at the index head. Main Index - Reeftalk Reviews
I do not see any example by you but feel free to send any site info like url admin login and ftp to our contact us link in the header. My post above shows how we define which template set to use.

That has nothing to do with the discussion we are talking about here. Lets stay on target. I already posted a fix in the other thread I do not want to get things mixed up here.
You can surely see my index has the edited template set. Either send details if you want me to look at your site or I can not assist you. If I can not replicate your specific issue then your site needs to be investigated.

I do not see an ftp account with your details however viewing your admin panel I can definately state all your files have not been updated to the latest code. Your admin panel says 4.1 not 4.21 so I know for a fact your adm-misc.php file at the very minimum is older than the current code.
My suggestion is to download the build. Delete the install upgrade and 2 config files from the downloaded code and upload everything else.

I updated the build with any fix for trim etc my suggestion is to download the build and upload all the files like I said before as your whatever site I was working on definately did not have all the current files once I uploaded the current code the issue was resolved.
