Relist date not updated

---->Please help change the thread title to "Relist extension"

Q1. Is seller able to relist by extending the item say few days earlier on 5th Sept? Or seller can only relist on the day it expires? How about are they able to relist after it expires? and How many days after it expires the seller is able to relist before the item is gone/deleted by sendnotice cron job? It is detemined by Number of days to show sold/closed ads? If is set to 2 days, does it mean seller has up to 9 sept to relist? After 9th sept the item will be gone?

Q2. Will it be automatically deleted by sendnotice? Or admin has to deleted manually from the Expire queue? and by the way when I go to Expire queue, it automatically switch to Approve Queue, is that normal?

Q3. How can expires item be deleted automatically? Because if there are 100 items expires and if all this 100 items are in the expires/approve queue and admin got to select Radio button 1 by 1 at a time is going to be a pain to delete the 100 items.

Q4. Is there check boxes instead of radio button available in expire/approve queue, so that can Check on the box and select all item on the same page. Or multiple items at the same time rather than 1 item at a time using radio button.

Appreciate above advice. Thanks alot.

1. sendnotice does not delete things it expires things so the user has a chance to relist if they have the email or url of there ad for two weeks before it would be deleted unless you delete it. number of days to show an ad is merely how many days do you want to show sold/expired ads nothing more.

2. You can delete in the expired que sure but there is code in admin to delete all ads expired over 2 weeks and that is automatic as a clean up thing.

3. already answered above

4. That is something you would have to code in as previously discussed in other threads since we support how our code as released.

adm-misc.php is at the top that file under the $checkdate line.

There is no auto delete really. Like I said in admin you can administer stuff under approve ads expired que and delete them there but any ads over the time period of 2 weeks we auto delete.

question C. does it mean whenever we login to adm-index, it'll auto check the date and delete? is that how we trigger the adm-misc to auto delete for ads over time period of 2 weeks? I want to know how can we trigger the adm-misc.php so that it'll check the date and auto-delete?

question D. one more question is for the date to show sold/closed ads, say I set it to 1 day, assuming ads is to be expired today 19th sept, so it'll show up 1 day which is 20th sept, after that it'll be hidden on 21st sept, I did a test by changing the system date to 21st sept, indeed it was hidden, but when I change system date back to 19th sept or 20th sept, it is suppose to show the ad but it didn't show up it remain as hidden, it is there's some variable whereby once is marked as hidden it cannot un-hide? which variable is that in the database, please let us know as I like to reset the variable so that it will un-hide and display my ad again. Help. Thanks.

Yes anytime you visit admin it will delete ads

The sold date feature is just that ads up to x number of days are shown

I am not sure what you mean by change system time all variables used come from the server

I found out already, whenever we want to change system date to test the sendnotice, is best we reset the lastupdate and cronupdate counter to 0
in the dbase, so that the calculation will be accurate in case we change the system date to 10 days later and 10 days before for testing, before changing the system date and prior to running sendnotice, best is reset counter to 0 first, and now I can get all the result accurately and expected output.
