Random ads on Index page

With side bars off and random ads displayed at the bottom of the index page if you click on the "more" link it does not generate a new selection of random ads. Instead it creates a second instance of the random ad box and overwrites the recent ads at the top of the page. Once this happens neither top nor bottom "More" links will work. Not a big deal but thought I'd pass along the glitch. I can always just remove the More link (once I'm able to find it). For a working example you can try out my 100% unaltered test version at;

Your link is not working just thought you would like to know. I will check out my site and see if I can replicate.

Odd... no other reports of access issues to any of my other sites. Do you get a 404 error or not authorized? I do have most countries blocked except Canada / US but your profile states you are in Maryland so that shouldn't be the issue.

I got a 404 last night but this morning is fine.

I will look at the ajax issue and see why things might be like that.

Any progress on this Chuck? 4.21 has the same issue. If you won't be able to get to it for a while that's cool but can you tell me where I might find the "More" link code in the bottom of the random ads feature? Been looking to remove the link but can't seem to find where to do so.

well I really can not replicate that has always been the issue. Like I said occassionally on your site I did see an issue and then no so there seems to no rhyme or reason.

Now as far as ajax I will say this since it is javascript you might want to check out and make sure any added javascript on your site you added to headers footers is removed in case there is a conflict there. That would be a good place to start.

The more link is in the display_gallery function of pp-inc.php and is simply a call to the ajax. A good question for you is does any of your ajax features work? the admin move delete box on showproduct?

I would think an external java conflict

Not sure why you can not replicate the issue given it also happens on Reef Talk but no matter. I can't see the More link being used much if at all for random ads so I will just edit it out and be done with it. I never thought to look in pp_inc for the link - thanks!

I hit the more on my site and it works fine when there are ads. There is nothing on my test site now to have a more link work it has one ad.

I am referring to this page - Main Index - PhotoPost Classifieds

If I scroll down and click on "More" the Recent ads box at the top is replaced by a second instance of the Random Ads and both become unclickable at that point.
