Signature lines

It appears the only way to insert a line break in sig lines is to use HTML<br> which isn't great but at least works. The problem is that the <br> shows in the text and does not insert a line break for the same signature line when posted on the classifieds forum. Ideally the enter key should insert a line break as it does for any current script that uses sig lines but at least the comments and forum need to present it the same way. I realize very few classified customers will use the forum option but without a forum integration it is my only option for offering support to users. Without the VB footer there is no contact us link.

Contact us links one would setup in there footer whatever they use standalone or a forum.

As far as signatures not really a bug I think your comparing to forum integrations where signatures are taken care of in the forum and may work differently.

Well... yes and no. I understand that full fledged forums will be far more advanced than the small forum included in photopost classifieds but what I'm referring to is the inconsistent display of the sig line. The two screen shots attached will show you what I mean. The first is from a comment posted to an ad using <br> as line breaks. The second is from a post to the forum included in classifieds which shows the <br> and does not force a line break.

Personally I think the sig line should also be included on the profile page as well but that's a mod and I'll sort that part out myself.

Maybe you can try in showproduct.php find this line

That allows the enter key to break lines which is wonderful and will be far easier for my users. Using that code I made the same change to board.php so that sig lines display the same in both locations. Perfect... thanks Chuck.
