Emails

Heya Chuck, the following is being reported by one of my users.

Quote:

The new classified notification emails are much better than before. However, there are still a couple little issues to be cleaned up.

The link to the actual ad, has a "br" at the end of the URL. I was thinking this is supposed to be <br />, but it doesn't seem like the right place for it. See the link below, right after 4921. The text displayed in the browser does not include the "br" after 4921. The "br" is also on the unsubscribe link, following the category number. Also, a few of the hyperlinks are not terminated with </a> so the text that follows is included as part of the link.

Link to ad: <a href="h ttp://classifieds.viperclub.org/showproduct.php?product=4921br" target="_blank">h ttp://classifieds.viperclub.org/sho...p?product=4921
<br />

<br />

Try making sure in pp-inc.php your send_ppemail function is this

Code:

Content visible to verified customers only.

ViperClub June 12th, 2011 05:12 PM

It is. Identical...

Interesting I will double check but the html emails are seeming to come in fine for me on my site so will check the function another time. How are regular non html emails?

ViperClub June 13th, 2011 07:01 PM

It seems as though your html conversion routine is handling line breaks (aka, converting \n to <br>) before non-links are converted to <a>'s

As I said I do not seem to have any issues here. feel free to send us site url admin login and ftp info to the contact us link and I will take a peek.
