Duplicate phrases
 

I did a fresh install of the phrases in the 4.2 upgrade script and found several duplicate values in the varname. I don't know if that may cause any problems?

I started looking into this, because the left hand menu links looks strange when I am logged in and watch the member.php file.

It looks like the username is missing


Invites

Invites is not supposed to show when the install is a integrated install vith vb4?


There is a blank spot here, where I think it is supposed to be Subscriptions. Since subscriptions is id the phrases table twice - maybe thats the problem?

Buddy List

There may be duplicate phrases sure the phrases thing was made from the old hard coded language files.

There would never be duplicate options etc if things are installed correctly. We explicitly group by phrase name limit 1 in phrase queries to get the phrase.

but do you know why the link for subscriptions don't show?

what do you mean link for subscriptions which url are we referring to? There are several different subscription links in the program.

I have three other questions on the same page:

1) What about the link saying "Edit profile for" - What is the sollution for this?

2) Also, shold Invites link be visible? I read somewhere that it was not supposed to be used if there were a forum integration?

3) If you click the link for ads, acctually only ads with images are shown. To see all your ads, you need to click the "my ads" link in the top menu. Maybe the link should be changed, or the script changed to show also ads without images?

2. no invites is fine it is not hidden

3. thats always been the case as my ads is simply a featured ad blocks that show in the members profile only from that member. Actually it can show ads that have no images but then again thats a setting in your admin settings to show ads without images in features.
