Classifeds sending multiple emails

My members are getting bombed with multiple emails for renewal of their ads. (one member has over 200 today) I am running vb 4.1.2 and recently upgraded classifieds.

Any ideas?

Did you make sure you ran all applicable upgrades and upload all new files? I mean the only issue I have seen with this is one use who did not run applicable upgrades so his lastupdate field was always 0 hense the emails continuously ran. So what is under your stats table in your classifieds database?

Thanks for your help, Chuck. I upgraded vB from 4.1.1 to 4.1.2 and PP Classifieds from 4.1 to 4.2 The upgrade instructions stated upload files only, no upgrade script necessary.

I checked line 116 in the 4.1 version of cron.php and it is the same as your post.

Yes the footer cron allows you to pick how many times to send an email if you want it once a day then set the crontime to 86399 otherwise you can hard code it like we do on the server cron sendnotice.php to once a day as noted in the line I suggested

So if I set the cron time in the admin options to 86399 this problem will go away?

Yes that tells the script to send out reminders once a day
