Problem after 'Selling/Closing' a listing

Ok, after marking a product as sold, the main image link changes.

The image no longer shows, the url is not to the image any longer but to a watermark

watermark.php?filepath=3/marty-feldman.jpg&file=1&size=1

I have watermarking turned off (as default) but I noticed Onthefly watermarking is turned on... I assume whats happening here is the system might be trying to overlay a 'SOLD' watermark over the image?????

The only way a watermark.php script or the overlay script would be called to display an image is if you have that option turned on. That has nothing to do with an ads sold status. It will show for all ads.

Now the onthefly watermark.php script if your using that would simply show a pending.gif image from your images directory because the ad is no longer approved.

If you dont want to use the watermark script turn off on the fly in your options in admin.

I can assure you I havent manually activated any watermarking options, these are default.

What is interesting is the image shows for an admin user.. else it doesnt show.. as seen below..

Admin sees everything

./images/ipending.gif

You should have a pending gif image that loads for everyone else

You can turn off watermark overlays in admin

I have ipending.gif in the correct location. After turning off onthefly watermarking it is showing the image.. Why would it be trying to watermark that specific image anyway when the smaller imager is shown regardless?

Perhaps the installation docs should be updated so others don't have this problem too, as I this was the default setting.

The watermark script is a self contained script to show an image it will only show an image that is approved. If the image is not approved it is suppose to read the ipending.gif image. Even not using the script if your not an admin or the user whom posted the ad if the ad is not approved you will see an ipending.gif image

If you are not seeing a pending gif image and see a red x you need to tell me what image it is looking for so I can comment further. Image screen captures are literally useless for the most part when dealing with support. It may convey you have a problem but it does not show page source and all the stuff one would need to help you. I would suggest true site links. If you have an issue of something not showing the first thing I would always do is view what path the image is being looked for and what the page source is.
