Supersize popup-window too small click on one of the supersize links and you will get an popup with ugly scrollbars because the window is too small for the image. example auction - PhotoPost Classifieds I replaced this $width = $image_stats[0]; $height = $image_stats[1]; by this $width = $image_stats[0]+15; $height = $image_stats[1]+15; and the scrollbars are gone: http://www.rennrad-news.de/rennrad-m...a-carbon&cat=1 Perhaps you can modify this in the ppc-code. |
If the width and height are correct them maybe the correct action would be in showproduct php the java call to open the window set scrollbars to no. |
ok, but why is ist set to yes then? |
Because that is how it was designed. I guess its a matter of personal choice. |
I am having this same problem - the default popup size is way smaller than the image size set in the admin panel. Will you be releasing a fix for this soon, or do we have to modify the code? |
The big popup window if your referring to that is suppose to open at 96% width and have scroll bars. Indeed it is exactly what happens so it is working fine. Maybe your talking about something else. |
So .. you want people to have to scroll around to see all of the image? Makes no sense to me. I would think it would be important to see all of the image when it pops up. |
Feel free to edit the java call to showfull.php in showproduct.php |
I have no problems editing the code myself to fix issues like this temporarily. (I actually did this already) The problem comes when it is time to upgrade, and the mods are overwritten. I guess I'm wondering if this will be logged as a bug and fixed for the next version or not? If not, perhaps an explanation as to why someone would want to see 96% of the popup image and have to scroll around to see the rest would help. |
It is coded to have a scrollbar. That is just how it is. You can place suggestions but the point is I beleive does not matter which product we talk about as the popup java is the same in each product and I think over the years only 2-3 people have even brought this up out of the 50000 customers or so we have. This discussion is only 4 months old and the product has not entered a beta yet so the simple solution is I have not even begun to decide on features for a new release. The small ones anyway. I am compiling my list of big features I want to add to classifieds and hope to open a beta for classifieds sometime this summer but right this minute I am getting ready to work through template sets and stuff Michael and I are working with for PhotoPost Pro 8. I could very well change how this is done in a future version but I need to get to that point of working with that specific build. I work in a cycle since I develop multiple products. ;) |
