Template issue ?

Having a small issue with comments rendering HTML code. Example below.

<p>AJ is Wonderful.&nbsp;Had good&nbsp;patience with me.</p>

Once again this is on a clean install. Could this be another template issue?

Do you have a site link?

What exactly are you entering in the actual description box.

If this is a VB install you should have all 3 vb define boxes set to on in edit integration options.

AJ is Wonderful. Had good patience with me.

Is what was left for a comment. This is not a VB install. I have had template issues with both my Classified which I did a new install of and the Review Post upgrade that you guys performed for me. Having a search problem on the Review Post currently that appears to be the same issue we had with the classified after install.

well thanks for the link.

I guess let me ask you this. Are you using which version of the software?

Are you using the wysiwyg editor or not?

Classifieds are 4.1 and was a clean install. We took care of a template issue for the search function which works fine now. The Comment thing was just brought to my attention.

The Review post version is 5.1 has been working fine until the latest issue with search came up.

For the classifieds where we are having the open tag issue I was using the advanced but switched it to the regular so I am not sure if that corrected the issue.

Chuck, I just checked something and found out where some of the open tags are coming from. In the comments area it is picking up signatures from the forum software. Some signatures use UBB code and some are using HTML. Looks like the comments area is not handling the signatures.

Also, what can we do about the search function in the review post.

You can post any issue you have in a product in that support area so I can respond.

I would need an explicit example url with an issue to respond. we simply pull signatures and display them.
