your sort box seems fine to me as far as holding a sort
so the issue as I see it is if you do a search by date as thats the only way a date goes into the url we need to include that into the actual cookie
I will go work on that

hi
I found the bug for IE work:
in searchbox.tmpl
find: Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
replace by: Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
(delete tag <form>)

That makes no sense because input tags are only used inside a form element.
Basically all you did was remove the ability to change the sort in effect making it dead. http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_input.asp |

actually changing the form element on cathead template from a get to a post is the correct change.
This will be added to 4.1 and I will upload it within 10 mins

You sure you are uploading the corrected files?
The real issue is as I describe it the cathead and searchbox templates need to be what I post.

Chuck I am having the same issue in my new install. Sort function will not work at all using IE version 8. Using theme colonial. Works fine using Google Chrome and Firefox but will not work with IE or Opera. Using Opera the side bars will change but nothing changes in the listings. This is in classifieds directory from the links you have.

Message sent. Speaking of the colonial theme, any chance you are going to offer this for Review Post and gallery?

You should be able to use the colonial theme with those products. It is in our stylesheets under those products as well. That is a theme I created along time ago.
