"Sort By" not working in MS IE on Class 4.03

"Sort by" still not working in MS IE on my brand new 4.03 install. When you select a sort method nothing happens. It works fine in Firefox.

PS. I have a new Reviewpost install and "Sort by" is working in Reviewpost on MS IE without any problems.

the sortby should be relatively the same between classifieds and reviewpost so I will compare the two and see if I see anything. The interesting thing here is you say its only IE 8.0?

Actually, I didn't say that. I tested it with IE 8 and it didn't work. My users are the ones that have complained about this and I don't know which version of IE they were using.

I may need to see your files. I have been viewing IE 8 support threads not seeing anything yet that helps.

I dont see anything in our code thats wrong html wise or code. The sort works in every browser but IE 8

You can test it for yourself at the URL above. I haven't modified the code -- and it's been reported as a bug by others as well.

Do you need to see "my code"? Because it's just your code.

Just noticed that the Number of Ads per page dropdown doesn't work either in IE 8, either

Also, when the page renders the status bar says "done, with errors".

(though the errors reported aren't necessarily the cause of this issue.)

I checked IE 8's "errors" for the page and it reports:

I know it isnt working what I am saying is I am trying to browse the IE8 support site to see if they have any help. This is only an issue in that browser which seems to point to a browser issue.

You say your reviewost works well I might need to see your files because for me I get the same error in both programs using IE8.

The sortby box has not changed in forever so the issue is trying to find out the issue in IE8.

Yeah, I just tested it again in Reviewpost. Here's a link to test it yourself:

Interesting my current classifieds and reviewpost do not work in ie8 only

You were already sending me server info on another issue so when I get that I will look at both issues and see why one works and another doesnt.
