vBSEO 3.5.1 and HTACCESS

Hello,
i have installed the vBSEO ver 3.5.1, and i have did your instruction to rename the HTACCESS to .htaccess, when i did this i got the page redirect to : http://www.mydomain.com/content/

i have opened a support case with vBSEO team, they give me this URL : vBSEO Compatible Hack:Photopost Classifieds - VBSEO Wiki

idid there steps with NO LUCK :(

now if we compare the both .htaccess i see yours have more options, do i have to ignore vBSEO steps? And what i have to do to make it work fine with VB4 ?

please let me know

well classifieds has its own SEO rewrite so I cant comment on vbSEO hacks or mods as those are not needed in my opinion.

I can tell you that normally any issues your going to have are because of vbSEO. You would normally have issues I think if you try to install classifieds in a subdirectory of your forum because its going to try and mess with our program because of its htaccess file.

For proper operation of your forum with vbseo and classifieds not to be interfered with by vbseo you would install your forum like so

http://www.mysite.com/forum

and classifieds like so

http://www.mysite.com/classifieds
