Buy-It-Now and Best Offer

Is it a bug or a feature?

I will not do an auction.
I offer an ad as "Best Offer" and also I will enable "Buy-it-Now".

If I put in both options, the "Buy-it-Now" button is shown on the product site.
Not shown is the "Buy-It-Now" price

After clicking on the buy-it-now button it shows me "Price 0,00 + shipping *.**"

In my opinion a "best offer" sale should not exclude the "buy-it-now" option.
Otherwise it must be unable to select both options by the script.

To do buy it now as it stats on upload page you must enter a buy it now price

I dont think buy it now shows unless you have a buy it now price

I put in on "best offer" 0 and on "Buy-It-Now" 33.

Then the buy-it-now price doesn't appear on the product site.

well the buy it now is an auction thing really so if you dont do an auction thats probally why you dont see it

buy it now also only appears if there is a buy it now price set

The only bug here is in buy.php because your reserve price should be the price on the form not 0.00

My suggestion would be these lines in buy.php

Yep.... my suggestion is that the buy-it-now price should be shown.

I tried it on your site, Chuck. If I click on PayPal the following site show me a total abotu 10 $ but also: "You are buying 1 products at $0.00 + $0.00 Shipping Amount."

Did you work with an edited buy.php?

I noted above what you could do in buy.php to make the price be right on buy script which is shows if you hit buy it now

Yes Chuck, it works and I think it's more logical. Thank you for your solution.

I wanted only to let you now, that in the checkout the product price is 0.00! The complete price (product and shipping) is correct.

So only a little "disfigurement" in the checkout whiich takes no effect at payment.

yeah sure I can clean up the display to accomidate the new coding but yes it passes the right price to payment which is good.
