| Install Error if seperate DB and using Integration
I have been installing and re-installing Classifieds 4 today and tried to setup a new clean DB for just Classifieds. This fails in the install on after step 4 - just returns the "We're sorry, but the system experienced an unrecoverable error." message. If I back up in the install and just try to install into the same DB as vBulletin if works just fine. Not sure if this is considered a bug, but I do not see any docs that say must be in same DB is using vB 3/4 integration.

Also, VERY minor errors:
1) Doing a clean install (new DB, new files) the footer still says v.3.12 if you do the INSTALL.PHP, upgrade.php correctly identifies as 4
2) Clean install using install.php/and even ran upgrade to fix cright message of just downloaded today Classified 4 gold and in admin cp Current Version = 4.0 Beta.
3) In Admin CP there are 4 configuration items named Cron Script, the first two are yes/no, but the numerical valued ones have the identical description. I assume these are the frequency in minutes that the script will be run.

Step 4 is where you integrate with a forum are you sure the database credentials are correct? Nothing has really changed on install with version 4 in regards to install. There are only a few queries on the upgrade and I have verified all that exists in the install. I have done a couple installs both in the same database and in separate databases without issue
1. Thanks yes thats minor got that
2. Thanks got that
3. You have two entries because you ran the upgrade also. Try redownloading the build and you can upload adm-misc.php to display the right version in admin panel and upload phrases.php and run that to reimport your phrases correctly.

I am facing the same issue, I am not sure how you passed through this one? I would appreciate the help though.
The only difference is I am trying to integrate it with phpbb3
I've tried doing it both separate DBs as well as same DB and I still get the same error.

Brand spanking new install separate databases NO ISSUES. You really need to make sure your information is correct in your config and on step 4 you use the proper forum table prefix where asked etc.

Ok, I have followed the directions here. I checked my configuration, installed the classifieds in the same directory as my IPB 3.0.5 (also a fresh install), and checked everything in Step 4.
My forum table prefix is blank since I intentionally installed without table prefix and my home URL is set correctly. I'm still getting the "unrecoverable" results.

Classifieds does NOT get installed into the same directory as your forum
If your getting an unrecoverable error I would think something has not been installed correctly.
Your free to post urls and a test login

If all else fails, I can also give you my backend information if necessary...thanks!
