"Script not called correctly" after renewal link is clicked

The iser gets the renewal link. Clicks it, gets the error "Script not called correctly"

I (logged in as admin) click it and the ad renews fine.

I log in as the user who posted the ad and I get the error.

This is happenning with every ad. I click it as admin have no issues. Please give advice.

The ads are not expiring either.

She posted ad on August 11th and posted it for a 15 day period which would make it expire on August 26th.

Here was the text:

AmandaS, your ad on EastvaleResidents.com for OFFICIAL NFL KANSAS CITY CHIEFS MOON CHAIRS AND KC ROYALS JACKET is going to expire in 4 days.

If you wish to renew your ad for an additional 15 days, please click on the link below:

Login - Eastvale Classifieds

If you have sold your item, please let us know by clicking on this link, select Edit Product from the top right and mark your ad as sold:

Please redownload the build and upload the core php scripts. especially editproduct as this seems like a bug that was fixed 6 months ago or so.

thanks. I am running 3.1. If I download and just overwrite the editproduct.php without doing the upgrade yet, will that be OK? I have made lots of edits to the categories and languages and such and really do not want to do them all over again, I just want this issue fixed for now until I can dedicate time for a proper upgrade.

Is it safe to just overwrite that file?
