| Users not logged in to the classifieds
I know this has been addressed but is the biggest issue on my site.
Users click on a classified and they are shown as logged out of the forums. They have to log in, check the remember me box as they log in. Then they are OK. I have ReviewPost (seperate DB) and it works perfect. Only in the classifieds am I having this issue. Classifieds are also in a seperate DB.
I have VB Forum integration
Here are my settings in Reviewpost:
Reviewpost Cookie Path: /
Forum Cookie Prefix:
Reviewpost Cookie Domain: .eastvaleresidents.com
Here are my settings in Classifieds
PhotoPost Classifieds Cookie Path: /
Forum Cookie Prefix:
PhotoPost Classifieds Cookie Domain: .eastvaleresidents.com
Same exact thing but why is this only happenning in the classifieds?
chuck, I can give you a test user account if you wish.

You can post a url and admin login to our contact us link in the header but there is no difference between reviewpost and classifieds or photopost how we authenticate users in vb.

Which version of PPC are you using?
I had this issue as well and modified the pp-inc authenticate procedure to fix it.

Feel free to discuss modifications with Ben via pm or email.
There should be no cookie issues if things are set correctly as noted in our example.

feel free to send any file he sent you to the contact us link in our header.
The interesting issue here is we are no able to replicate any issue and i myself use 4 browsers. Mozilla, IE, Opera and Safari.
For example log into this site here and do not check the remember me box and browse around to the gallery or classifieds. I placed links above. You stay logged in. So the question I have repeatedly pondered whats the difference.

I never ever had the remember me button ticked!

Which is why I said you could send the file.
Obviously there is something different whether it be some java code or plugin something that might be messing with a sessionhash in vb. Any default vb/pp that I can sign into I can do so with or without checking a remember me box. In fact what I found was it definately was tied to some vb alteration because if you turn off the vb headers on our product say on your site and click around you will see your not logged out. It is only when you use your vb header so it comes down to what plugins etc you have installed that might be interferring with the vb sessionhash.

Yes I saw it
Only one thing really different although I dont see where that would interfere with the sessionhash it only updates the user last on not sessionhash.
