Zip Code Distance field vanishes

Last night my test user entered his zip code. It correctly told him the distance on the ads. Very nice.

But today the test user does not see any distance and the option to tell it the zip code is gone. There is a new ad where it gives the option to enter the zip code... but it does not give him the option on the one I entered last night. Just a blank box.

Okay apparently this is how thats supposed to work. Silly Me.

yes if his cookies clears he must reenter a zipcode
