If you choose a top level category in advanced search you will have no ads displayed.

In this case: Main
Omegatron Classifieds - All Ads

You need to choose a subcategory, like Main, For sale
Omegatron Classifieds - All Ads

Then you will have a result.

Either we should not display top level categories in the search box or it should result in showing the ads from all subcategories, don't you think?

top level cats can or can not have ads so I dont really think this is a bug.

But as a user, don't you expect to search all subcategories when you choose Main in the example above?

I dont beleive any of our products do that from what I see. I might look into the ability to do that in the future might involve a rewrite.

I would appreciate if it was rewritten in a future version :)
