& symbol in description and title being escaped

If a user puts a & symbol in their title, eg "Table & chair for sale" the script converts/escapes this to "Table & chair for sale". Likewise if you try putting an & in the item's description it gets changed, so links like this break http://www.test.com/something.php?page=2&cat=4

Please try putting a link in that description, such as

http://www.omegatron.net/page.php?id...=1&something=2

i.e. a link with some &s in it. Also are you running the current stable version on there? Just wanted to check as I'm not running the beta.

Does not matter which version I am running 3.05 or 3.1 as the way we handle titles descriptions is the same in both versions.

Hi Chuck, can you test this, put a & in the description of a product - but it needs to be done on an installation that has the vb3 features enabled, i.e. not a standalone like the URL above. Also if people put double line breaks such

It's replicated in the description. I wonder whether it's something to do with the way the vB3 integrates and their WYSIWYG stuff?
