PHPBB error

So, I uploaded the new 3.04 files, and changed my integration from phpbb2 to phpbb3.

First, I can't upgrade to the latest version, as its not listed. Upgrade options stop at 3.0.

Second, when I change the feilds for BB integration to PHPBB3, i get this:

We're sorry, but the system experienced an unrecoverable error. Please try again later.

What the hell am I doin wrong?

You cant hand change an integration they are completely different integrations. You need to run the install script and reinstall and select phpbb3. As all our announcements state 3.0 is the last upgrade. 3.0x are all bug fix releases no upgrade.

Ah i see. Well that certainly does explain that one then.

Thing is, won't reinstalling it mean that it wipes out all my current ads?

Not if you install it into the same database with the same table prefix So do not touch your config files.

I'm scared chuck. Hold me.

Ok. I have uploaded 3.05 into the same directory. I am going to run the install script, and use the same prefix as the old version. I am not touching my config files.

I have backed up my database. Fingers crossed....here we go.

As long as you install correctly using the same info nothing gets overwritten just settings get updated.
