Buy it now is faulty!

I am having trouble with buy it now throug paypal.

Unregistered view ads and buy throug buy it now.

Allso if two users are bidding on the same amount and they exeed the buyit now price. the one who is loosing can use the buy it now feature and therfore buy the item.

There is no way for a guest to buy an ad.

In order for buyit now to be shown on the page the user must have a paypal email entered in there profile meaning they need to be registered.

If I am not signed in I can still see the Paypal button and therefor pay?

And can the bidding exceeds the buyit now amount and the third registerd user step in and uses the buyit now function is that possible.?

Is it possible to hide the button when bidding has maxed the buyit now amount.

If biddprice > buyitnow price then hide buyitnow button.

I have changed both showproduct in templates and in vbulletin folder.

But the button is still there for guests.

$paypal would always be empty for a guest.

ah okay $paypal just makes sure the user who posted the ad has a paypal address.

Guests are permitted to buy it now.

Users whom post there ad state whether they want to buy it now and post a reserve to sell it immediately and thus end their auction and bidding.

You could try for instance to not show it to guests change that line to something like this

Therefore from what I see there is nothing wrong with the system

You would have to modify your code in some way to do something the system is not designed to do.

This dose not work.

It seams kind a strange for guest to be able to buy with out registering.
I will give it a try as it is. Might be nice to have this as an option in the feature

That should work just fine. That conditional simply adds on if there userid is under 1 then dont show buy it now.
