Mail formatting problem on verification

Hi Chuck,

I have a strange email formatting problem. When a user makes a new registration and receives the registration/verification mail, the mail looks like this in Outlook:

Content visible to verified customers only.

All other mails sent out by PP Classifieds are ok and look like this:

Content visible to verified customers only.

I'm using PP Classifieds 3.03. Any idea?

Do me a test. Send a user an email from the edit users script in admin just pick possible a test user you have and see how that email is done.

don't know exactly what you mean. In admin/edit user I can only edit a user, delete a user and reset his password; no possibility to send out an email from there. Resetting a users password gives a correct formatted mail.

This is a test installation, all users are dummy users and all data are test data. Feel free to register yourself, so you will receive the verification mail by yourself. You can then reset your password and will receive another mail. The URL is

I've already looked into languages/german/email.php; the strings there are ok and indentical to other email messages. What I found out is that the registration verification mail is sent out by register.php, while all other mails are sent out by adm-users.php. Maybe this is a hint...

In Admin => Edit Users you can definately email a user

Yes you can email a login if you choose.

I assume I'm blind, I can only email to all users, but not to a single user.

Anyway, I can not send you a PM and I don't know your mail address, so just go to my site, register yourself and I will give you admin access. I'm quite interested how the verification mail you will receive looks like...

There is no possibility to mail a single user...

(there is also no possibility in the defalt layout, too)

No you would email all users.
