Sub categories disappearing in Admn

I am adding all my categories and sub categories via my admin. All works fine for a bit, but it seems that when I get to a certain number of subcategories ALL the sub categories disappear from my admin... It only shows all my top level categories. When I go to my main homepage for the site, ALL the categories and sub categores are displayed.

When the sub catogories diasppear from my admin, I have no way of editing my subcategories.

PLEASE HELP!

Your category in editor will only display a full cat list up to a certain amount of categories. After you pass that your parent categories are hyperlinked and to show subcats you click the parent category name.
