3.01 Profile Error - Missing Data

It is an example of a profile and nearly ALL of the data is missing.

I've also noticed some other numbers don't mesh up with the ads.

Can you take a look into this for me please?

Oh you know what, I didn't upload the templates or the stylesheets directory from the zip file because I thought it would overwrite any changes I had made in those areas to 2.6 and wasn't necessary, sounds like you are saying there were changes to some of those and they are necessary, do you have a list of which ones changed or are new?

Most definately you need to upload all the new files!

Ok I copied over the new templates and brought forward the changes in my modified templates and that fixed up the display. However, some items in the user profile page don't seem to work the way I would expect them to.

For example, when I click on my own profile and click ads

I get a display of Recent Ads, Most Popular Ads, and Random Ads, but none of the ads I have listed (although I may not have any current ads). I would expect to see either some statement "This member has no current ads" followed by "Here are some Recent, Popular and Random Ads for you to view", or I would expect to see all ads I had ever placed for historical purposes, or I could as a member choose whether or not to display my past ads, or current ads only.

What it displays now isn't what I would expect at all if I clicked on someone's name to see their profile.

IN profile template the lines noted here must be this

Also in this section of the profile:

There is a line for Number of ads - 13
Number of times ads viewed - 13K something
And then a blank line followed by "Never"

There is nothing listed under admin options and if you scroll down you can see a table is messed up next to subscriptions. I copied up all the latest templates to the server so I suspct there is an error in one of the templates for formatting.

Where it says Number of ads and has the number 13, the hyperlink associated with number 13 is as follows:

When you click on that hyperlink for the number 13 it takes me to my home page which means it isn't finding that page (VBSEO redirects any page not founds to my home page otherwise this would be a 404 error)

If I click "Watch List" to the left and go here:

I just get a listing of Random Ads. If there are no ads I am watching shouldn't I get text that says "You are currently not watching any ads" or something to that effect, why a display of random ads?

If I click on Comments:

Then I see two large blocks of comments some of which are the same, and some are different, but no rhyme or reason as to why 2 blocks, the second block has more info, I'm not sure what the first block is for.

So several items that I think need looking into. Let me know how I can assist.

Looks like it matches what you said it should be, but I still find that display confusing if the user has no current ads without a message stating that.

Try redownloading the build upload your language file profile template and pp-inc.php

All done as requested, no change. Let me know ifyou need admincp and ftp access and how to get you that info and I am happy to do so.

Of course if you uploaded the templates pp-inc.php and language file there would be a change.

You need to upload the language folder the templates folder and pp-inc.php

Most likely you have not uploaded your vb3enhanced templates

Chuck, I did, everything from my drive from the zip file I downloaded yesterday was re-uploaded again, templates, pp-inc.php file and language file and sub folders. Seriously, I did, that's why I want to give you access so you can do the same thing I just did and prove to yourself that something is amiss. If it isn't a file then maybe my configuration? Again, I'd like to give you the access to check for yourself if you just tell me how to get that info to you I will gladly do so. (I don't think I can PM you here)

You are suppose to redownload the build from us now and do what I stated

Ok off to do another download, and then upload the things you requested.. standby...

Ok done, downloaded new file, ,uploaded the pp-inc.php file, the language file and directory with files, and the profile template for the vb3enhanced version, off to go have a look...

Ok that's certainly better now, however, I'm still confused a little bit about this page:

Now it says "Last ad uploaded" and says Never, yet it shows I have 13 ads, how can it be never? :)

The 13 link works now and shows my prior ads.

Admin Options still has nothing underneath it, should it?

I see a thumbnail and this ad link when viewing that link I most certainly do not see never.

admin options I will check that out but that might be the subscriptions and if you have not then nothing will show.

I am attaching a screen capture so you can see what I see and where I am seeing "never" and then nothing under admin options, which if I simply don't have a subscription then I can understand although maybe it should say "Admin Your Subscription" or something. :)

Try logging out and look at your profile to see what I see.

I have tried on my site logging in and out and still see the same thing an ad NEVER should only be displayed when we dont find an ad.

As far as the admin thing the link is there we are missing a language string add this to your language file
