problem with picture and thumbnail

What is this error about when peolpe lay in new Classifieds
Its just get at blank img file and no thumbnail

Rebuilding thumbnail: /home/6/b0008126/www/saltvattensguiden.se/annonser/data/4/thumbs/DSC_02851.jpg
Creating from /home/6/b0008126/www/saltvattensguiden.se/annonser/data/4/DSC_02851.jpg ... failed!

Not sure what you mean that error simply tells me the permissions are not correct most likely on the thumbs directory in that data directory and we can not build a thumb as a result

Check the data directory and make sure it is set to 777 permissions at every level under data meaning all the numeric directories and the thumbs medium and thumbs directories under them.

thanks for the help. Its realy strange i have set the permissions again to 777 and run the Rebuild all thumbnails, Check and rebuild all preview images

But it came up the same. I see what happend mabye its some problem with the server...?

Could be a permissions issue but I would need more info on the ad in questions links etc?

well your large images work if you click the broken links and preview main images show fine. This can be only one thing I know of. Check permissions on the thumbs directories under those categories under data meaning the 4 and 7 directories make sure thumbs exist and are 777. You can then rebuild thumbs but everything else looks fine to me.

Hello again. Its still the same, when the support make the mapp to 777 it works but then later it goes back to 666

And today i tested to make a new folder uploaded a thing and it works with the rights but when i run the Scan Database it goes back to 666

images being 666 should not be an issue as that is what the program would set them to. You seem to have deleted your ad so I am unsure what your saying the issue is. We write images as 666 and that is correct. Your directories must be 777.

Its realy strange this. When i made a new ad directori and make a new ad it works but when i run the
Rebuild all thumbnails, Check and rebuild all preview images the hole mapp for the thumbnail goes to 666 to nad it came up a black picture

why would your thumbnail go to blank at 666 thats the default permission we set to an image when its created please post links
