E-mail Sent with incorrect URL for User Profile
 

Hello...

Just tresting before I open the site and found that when someone buys something and the e-mails are sent to both parties, the USER PROFILE URL is not correct.

It sends out...

http://marketplace.avsforum.com/member.php?u=37945

and it should be...

http://marketplace.avsforum.com/member.php?uid=37945

The U= needs to be UID= .

Can you please advise whenre to fix?

Hello Again...

Two things...

1) I just noticed that you have re-released 2.61 as at the end of last month. However what changes were made to it? Nothing is documented and no notice on the release.

2) On that same note, I found the two php files I needed to edited to fix the above. sendnotice.php and buy.php. However, in the re-released version mentioned above, one area was fixed and the others were not. (u= was fixed to uid=). So I wanted to check in on this also.

No one has reported this bug ever. anytime the built was updated where merely bug fixes. We are getting ready to open a beta soon but will update the build to reflect this bug fix.

Sorry no one mentioned it sooner. I found it for I tested the system with two accounts that I then received both e-mail for.

Did you look in the files and you can concur there is an issue. (before my fix)

Also...what was the re-release of 2.61 for? The one I downloaded was from July and now their is a new on as of the end of last month with not change info or anything.

Just bugs fixed.

Your fix is fine. In those files where the email is formed changing u to uid is fine.
