Numerous Problems

I have been having a few problems with my classifieds system over the past 2 years and through numerous upgrades. They have not been major issues so I didn't bother posting but now I want things to work properly and I can't get the permissions set the way I want them so I'm asking for your assistance in solving these issues.

I am running version 2.5 Beta1 so I assume you will suggest an upgrade to 2.6 but I wanted to point out these issues before doing another upgrade.

1) I have a list of comments in the moderate comments portion of the admin cp and when I click "approve comments" they remain there. I don't want to moderate any comments but I do want to moderate the original submission of each ad.

2) The number of users and posted ads does not show up on the index page.
Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
3) Third, and most importantly, when editing usergroups, permissions are not saving properly. When changing whether a group can edit their ads, it automatically changes whether they can post ads and vice versa.
When I change "Allow edit own ads?" to "No," and click "Save Changes," the changes are not saved but somehow a change is made from Yes to No under "Allow Posting?". Then when I attempt to make the change again, it saves to No under "Allow edit own ads?" but allow posting has already been changed to No so they can't post any ads. What is going on here? Why would changing one affect the other? Are these changes made on purpose by the software? If anything this logic is backwards. If you don't allow posting, they certainly can't edit their ads because they can't post them in the first place so that would be ok for the software to automatically change things but you should be able to allow ads and not allow editing of them. This cannot be done on my system so I assume something is wrong. I want to allow groups to post ads but not edit the ads because they keep deleting them from the system and I want a record of all ads posted. If they want to amend their ads, they can contact me or post a correction in the comments below their ad.

Also, as far as deleting is concerned, I think you should have a soft delete so that ads can be deleted without being totally removed from the system. Or so they can be temporarily taken down for whatever reason. I keep having members delete their ads and then they put a new ad up again later after a sale has failed to go through or whatever. I don't want them to be able to delete them at all, but my permissions issue mentioned above precludes me from this. If they can post, then they can edit, and thus delete.

I also wish we could choose the default sort order like you can with photopost php pro (most recent, most active, etc.)

Yes you should upgrade to 2.61 and see where you stand

Number 2 is just a wish on your part it seems and you are free to post suggestions for future versions

Your other 2 should be fine if you upgrade
