Moderators can't edit/remove comments

Hi

For some reason, my moderators can't edit/remove user comments.
I have them on their own User Group, and have everything set to "Yes" except for "Admin Access", because I don't want them to get access into the software admin settings.

They should have full access to moderate the ads and comments - remove/edit/move.. same for the members-comments, to remove spammers/insulting comments.

This group specifically have "Allow edit comments" ON (like everything else except for "Admin Access"), so I guess it's a BUG.


Can you please check it out and see how to fix this?


I'm using the latest version with SMF integration.
The users groups import worked great, the moderators DO HAVE access to move/delete ads, so it's not an intergration problem, as far as I believe.

Have you specified that user as a moderator in that specific category?

no (I have like 50 categories..), but I have this ON: ('YES')

Do you want moderators to have global rights?
Set this to NO if you want to assign moderators to specific categories

And they DO have permissions to move/delete ads, but not the comments.

This is the only restriction I see so what is the error you get?

Given the restriction I see I would have to ask why they come back NOT AS MODERATORS

I set up a normal moderator globally on my gallery and they can edit and delete comments without issue

Then maybe it's a template problem?

I see here that the IF statement is different:

Maybe I should change "$ueditposts" with "$ismod" ?

What error do you get is what I am saying? I see no issues with using default code. Have you tried uploading all clean files and templates?
