| bugs on the SMF integration script [and some fixed]
Hi
You have a bug in your SMF integration script, when no db prefix is used.
Your code is: Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
So if the prefix is empty (no prefix at all) your script assume it's "smf_" which is not correct.
This appears a few times on the smf.php file.
I fixed it very easily by simple removing all the "smf_" from the file.. Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
Please make that change built into future version.

HOWEVER,
Now I'm able to login (actually remembered by the cookie) and I even see on he index that I have "30,582 Users 0 posted ads", but the Member List is empty, on when I go to adm-index.php it says: "You are not a valid administrator or moderator!"..

hmm...
I also doesn't have any "post ad" link, and when I go to "Profile" I see myself as a normal user (can contact and rate/feedback myself) and not as a "my profile" page (edit my info etc). also for some reason the "Register" and "Forgot Password" links go to: "/community//index.php" (for example: http://www.MY-DOMAIN.com/community//...?action=logout) with 2 slashes, while I'm 1000000% confident that there is NO LEADING SLASH AT ALL on the config-intc.php file. nevermind, I looked into the "cp_settings" table on the database and saw it was with a leading slash in there (even though the config file was fine)..

why is that a bug the default smf_ prefix is indeed smf_
Its no big deal to remove it but I dont think anyone has ever tried removing the smf precause cause if you install thats the default prefix
The members list is empty cause no one has uploaded ads yet and your not going to have post an ad links etc till the admin sets permissions in admin edit usergroups
Now as far as your admin login are you the true smf admin not some subgroup?
We on an install set admin access to the default admin account which is usergroup 1 so if you get no admin it is because your not in usergroup 1 Code: Content visible to verified customers only.

And the default wasn't "smf_", unless not for people that made their first SMF installation on an older version..
anyway, it doesn't really matter now. Quote:

| of course I'm an admin (ID_GROUP=1).. :\
The code on adm-index.php is: Code: Content visible to verified customers only.

The code I posted is right in our smf.php INTEGRATION file
If you installed this correctly then the usergroups are imported.
You can try reinstalling with your modified file of course but I would suspect you do not have admin access here cause your usergroups table is empty cause your smf usergroups where not imported.

You are right, my "cp_usergroups" table only have a "guests" group.
I will try to drop everything and do a full install all over again, thanks.

OK, it's working now. thanks!
One more thing though,
SMF's "members" table have a 'memberName' and a 'realName'.
'memberName' is used for the login, but 'realName' is the displayed name.
Can you please guide me on how to make PhotoPost Classifieds display the 'realName' as the member's name, instead of the 'memberName' ?
Thank you!

wow yeah nothing I can post on here about that since it requires more than just a one line edit.
You can email support@photopost.com and I can try and give you a file that might do that.
