i even upgraded to 2.6 because I thought this would be fixed but it's not.

When I edit a category and click the box.
*Check box to apply these settings and permissions to all children

most of the features apply but the last one for:
"These checked usergroups can post to this category,
unless a usergroup's overall posting access is disabled"

don't apply. So i have to manually check the boxes.

I guess you would need to send an email to support@photopost.com with your site url admin login and ftp info cause i see no issue with this at all on our default code.
