Like any web site view counter, it might be best to show the users the total count for all ads ever. I'm not sure they would understand just showing a count for what's on line.
As used in a photo gallery, probably posts don't get deleted so much, but classified ads are on and off like a light bulb.

Is this also true of the "Items Sold" and "Value of Items Sold" lines?
Are they for all ads ever or only the current ads in the system?
There might be a need for a different reporting method in classified ads compared to PhotoPost reviews or PhotoPost photo albums. In the classifieds, what has happened in the past is important to draw new users, whereas in the other two applications, only what is current is important.
