Total ad count off?

When I add up the total number of ads on my Classifieds Home page, I get 175. The "Statistics" window shows: "Active Ads 223".

Why is that?

Do you have expired ads in your expired que you have not deleted?

You can add in bold this in pp-inc.php to not include your expired ads but you really should delete the expired ones.

I'm running 2.5 and I've never seen an expired ad in the admin - "Approve / bulk actions".

There is indeed an expired que in the approval section of admin in which you expire ads. My suggestion though is to upgrade to 2.6 which will auto expire the expired ads in 2 weeks if you forget to do so.

I didn't say the queue wasn't there, I said I've never seen an expired ad in it. It is always empty, no matter how many ads may have expired.

Did you ever set up your cron script sendnotice.php?
