No watermarks when clicking thumbs - on-the-fly

When using On-The-Fly Watermarks and a user uploads more than one photo, then the first uploaded photo shows the watermark (I mean the pic at the top right).

If a user clicks the supersize links below the thums than a window opens showing the larger pic and it also shows the watermark. So far no problem.

But, when a user clicks on the thumbs, then the larger image will appear at the top right, and it doesn't show a watermark.

I discovered this in personals by the way. I still need to test it in classifieds.

Is this a bug or just an error in the personals' showproduct2.tmpl?

Actually that is that java update code. It needs to direct url to an image to load it can not work with a script link and as such watermarking on the fly does not work with it.

So the only solution to this would be to let users upload only one photo?

Is it possible to remove the hyperlinks from the thumbs so that users can only click the supersize links and the watermark will show on all photos?

Just find in showproduct.php the $file1thumb, $file2thumb etc etc lines and remove the a href tag around the img tag

That is not a fix that I see there is no fix for one the fly with the java updater. No way to do it really. That is why the user asked how to remove the links.

Post 2 clearly explains this.

Please disregard my request. I've got your stock 8/31/07 showproduct code working and javascript:update is updating the photos just fine. (I'm just code jumpy - please forgive me.)
