This means your mysql info in the config file is incorrect to make a mysql connection

Did you change any site passwords the error is very absolute here. Check the info in the config file and in your site manager

The error your posting means that the information in your classifieds config file is incorrect to connect to mysql on your server. You need to triple check this is correct and contact your host if you continue to have issue

nevermind has to reset the integration. quick question though. Um how does one change the paths for the navbars that show up in classifieds. The paths are fine except it adds the /classifieds ahead of everything. I think this is the shoutbox isnt working only in this program. these are the navbars that are added from the forums.

ah you overwrote your config

we load the vb header and navbar we dont load any custom hacks you add. If its simple html we load that if its in the navbar

I dont see anything viewing your site

heres what the navbars only in classifieds look like

http://www.pnwfs4x4s.com/forums/clas...log/index.php?

see its adding classifieds and what happens is there is nothing there are classifieds. all the links have classifieds when it should looklike this

http://www.pnwfs4x4s.com/forums/photoplog/index.php?

it does it with vb garage, and I know that is what is causing the shoutbox not to work.

you can view my classifieds at http://pnwfs4x4s.com/forums/classifieds

and one other question... um how can I load a stock image for each category? it looks clunky with out one. I did it once by using an image in a post but some categories are blank and I just want a stock image there.

Your classifieds pulls the navbar fine as I explained your not going to load hacks without knowing the variables. You might want to post about this in the hack thread for that shoutbox. More than likely you need to make the hack works globally not just certain areas in vb.

um it is set globally.. your program is the only one that wont load vbshout.. as for the the links on the navbar in classifieds and try click on any of the links on my navbar IN classifieds on my site. nothing loads not member garage, not photo plog because the path is wrong.

it adds classifieds which is the wrong path here is the right path

http://www.pnwfs4x4s.com/forums/vbgarage.php? right path

heres the path it gives
http://www.pnwfs4x4s.com/forums/clas.../vbgarage.php?
wrong path

http://www.pnwfs4x4s.com/forums/photoplog/index.php? right path

http://www.pnwfs4x4s.com/forums/clas...log/index.php? wrong path

its setting these paths. it keeps adding classifieds to the path.

also please answer the stock images question above.

You need to change any relative links in your navbar for those programs to full url

we only autorewrite normal vb program urls not those of hacks

To make a category avatar you need to view an ad within that category and hit make index thumb or you can turn catavatars off in index options if you dont want to show that column

whats your pp_path set to in config-inc.php?

try redownloading the build and specifically uploading uploadproduct.php
