Member details + news field

I found this 2 problems :

1. Member details can't be edited. I have tried many times, but can't find any function to edit members own details such as occupation, birthday etc.

2. News field : If we put html code at the news/announcement field, we can't delete it. I have to delete it at the database.

Hope the support team can look at this matter.
