| Default CSS Disappeared?
After making one edit to my default CSS file, it disappeared. The file is still there but empty. It shows no code. Any thoughts?

you need to restore the stylesheet but that would be the correct change. You sure you made the right line change I noted?

Does the original code appear more than once in the .php file? If no, then it is correct. If the original code is repeated then it's likely I made a mistake.

Chuck, I find two instances of the"bodylines" code and set each one to the suggested code individually. After each attempt I went back to admin config and slected no to use integrated forum stylesheets. I am still getting a blank CSS edit screen along with "maintitle"class areas on my forum and PP.

Well your using the IBP stylesheet so you dont edit stylesheet in our admin
However if I view your stylesheet the maintitle is set to #ffffff so this is why your menubar is white as it is suppose to be. In a normal IBP stylesheet this is usually a normal color. If your style goes away from the normal css default of IBP which we code to them maybe my suggestion would be to edit your photopost forums file ib2.php in the forums subdirectory of each app and replace at the bottom of the file maintitle with another style class.
Like say postlinksbar Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
change to this as this may suit your custom style a little better Code: Content visible to verified customers only.

I found your install details from a few days ago and changed this for you in those files so it should be fine.

Chuck,
There is text in PP that I couldn't find a setting for in IPB's style sheets so I tried locating it in PP's stylesheet. After doing so, the CSS default would not come back up in PP. I see that PP's maintitle is back but my forum's maintitle class is still white even though I have IPB's CSS set to black. This all happened at once and I believe was a result of the change in PP's style sheet. I have opened a ticket with IPB. Do you have any thoughts? I have rebuilt the skins, their cache's and empited my browser cache with no luck.

Miket
We don't change anything on the forum style so I doubt it. Whatever you do to IBP stylesheet you save to your ibp database. We use the stylesheet on the style_images directory that is exported to disk. We do not use the one saved in your ibp database
Hense the confusion here as I thought originally you where talking the classifieds product stylesheet editor until I recognized your name Miket and connected you with your website which told me automatically you where dealing you trying to edit your forum stylesheets in ibp admin
There is nowhere in Photopost to edit a forum stylesheet so we can not affect your forum style at all.
Chuck

Yep I see what you did. In your IBP admin for look&feel when you change a skin make sure to run the update cache tool
I did this and your skin is fine in ibp now.

Chuck,
I think we are having a hard time communicating so let me start from the beginning. I have both PP Pro and Classifieds. I went into (as described above) PP Classifieds admin- edit stylesheets-default.css and made one change to maintitle to white by mistake. Upon saving it and then attemtping to reenter this same area (to correct the problem), the default CSS parameters did not appear...they did before, they don't anymore. I then went into IPB's skin manager to edit the maintitle class in that CSS and never got it to take. I also at that time changed the maintitle class font to black which has never taken since PP was installed.
Sorry for this but, ever since PP was installed, it has been very buggy to change the CSS in IPB. I just changed the maintitle class background color in IPB's CSS stylesheet to a dark color. I saved it and then refreshed my browser and on the forum (and in PPclassifieds), the background went back to white (regardless of my edit in the IPB CSS). I ran the update cache tool (in IPB, which I have never had to do on my other two IPB boards) and it is still white. Not to mention, the color for the fonts in the maintitle class (in IPB CSS) has been set to black for a few days now and was ignored for some reason even after your edits in your last post. None of these issues were ever present until this recent install. I am sorry for the trouble but please help me understand whats going on.

I beleive your getting confused here which admin section you are speaking about here cause our stylesheet editor only edits our stylesheets and there is no maintitle class in our stylesheets.
I know what your doing though cause I just fixed your forum again. You keep deleting the trailing ; when you put a new color in there for maintitle in your forum admin style manager.
To change a color on the ibp stylesheet you go to forum admin look&feel. You then go to the ibp default skin and change the color code. Make sure you do not delete the trailing semicolon. Your only replacing the hex code. Then go to skin tools and rebuild the cache.
Thats all there is to it You ibp support forums should have some facts how to use there styles menu.
